Tusken Raider Robes

The overall appearance of the Tusken raider is based on clothing of middle eastern and tribal peoples. The inner robe is a thin sheet ------- An inner robe, similar to an Arabic thawb, is worn on the most inner layer of clothing. The outer robe is a much heavier fabric and resembles a kaftan. The rest of the visible body is wrapped and covered with the same canvas fabric. Tusken Raiders wear their garments to protect themselves from the sun and sand. According to Legends (non-canon sources), Tusken Raiders resemble a person mixed with a rat. The robes in this instance also help camouflage them in the desert sand. Males wear loose and crudely made robes to allow easy movement and allow garments to be replaced easily. Females wear jeweled masks and sand-shroud.

THIS POST IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. IT WILL BE UPDATED OVER TIME.

I have begun work on my robes for my Tusken Raider. I chose natural color cloths, not bleached. The person making my helmet recommended this to me so that's what I'm going with.
